Juniors Curling Program

Program Overview

• Schedule: Wednesdays after school, 3:15-4:45 P.M., mid-October through mid-March (about 20 weeks).
• Ages: 10-18 years old.
• Fee: $75.
• Equipment: Brushes, grippers, sliders, and a new protective cap or toque for new curlers are provided.
• What to bring: Clean soft-soled shoes or sneakers, warm jacket, gloves, and comfortable/stretchy pants.

Experienced junior curlers can also play in adult leagues at half rates and may spare for free.

Bonspiels and Development

With a few months of experience, juniors can compete in South Okanagan junior bonspiels, including our own windup junior bonspiel. Curling is an Olympic sport and there are pathways to higher competition levels. Club juniors have competed in the BC Winter Games and U18 BC Provincials.
